agriculture and horticulture Description.
DC submersible pumps, made of
cast iron of considerable thickness,
with exceptional strength,
abrasion resistance and durability,
are recommended for
draining off clean water or
slightly dirty water.
They stand out for their
robustness and reliability in
fixed installations with automatic
operation.
The drainage pump is used for
draining pits and deep roadway
underpasses,
as well as for dewatering
basements and courtyards
subject to a flooding risk or groundwater.
It is usually started automatically via float switches.
For most average-sized
homes in areas with average
water tables, a 1/3 HP
sump pump should be sufficient.
Typically, 1/3 HP pumps can handle 7'
– 10' vertical lifts from the sump
pit if they have one 90-degree elbow
and a horizontal pipe run between
3 feet and 25 feet.
Typically a sewage pump
is required to handle larger solid
particles, whereas a sump pump
or drainage pump is used for pumping
clear waters.
In short, a sewage
pump is designed to handle
sewage and pump it into the
mains sewer, whereas sump
pumps handle excess water
to prevent flooding.
Dewatering pump PD series.
Ideal for pumping of sewage
containing stringy materials and rags.
Built with large clearances that
allow ample free passanges for the
pumping of biological sludge wastes.
Works on vortex force avoiding the
solid particles in contact with the
impeller to reduce the water.
