- Apply the necessary amount of aciclovir cream to the skin area showing signs of infection (blisters, swelling, redness) and also to surrounding areas with a cotton swab. If you apply the cream by hand, you should wash your hands thoroughly before and after to avoid superinfecting the damaged skin and at the same time avoid transmitting the virus to mucous membranes and uninfected skin areas.

- Use every 4 hours (5 - 6 times per day for 5 - 7 days. In some cases, treatment should be prolonged until healed. Treatment should not exceed 10 days.
