A power sprayer used to apply a highly concentrated pesticide in highly dispersed form usually by delivering it into a strong air blast generated by fans or blowers. called also low gallonage sprayer, mist concentrate sprayer, speed sprayer. A power sprayer is an essential tool for agriculture that helps in the application of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. It is a time-saving and efficient method of applying the solutions on crops, fruits, and vegetables, saving the farmer both time and energy. Advantages include delivering spray to hard-to-reach places, such as trees, as well as application at high pressure and high capacity or low pressure and low volume. A disadvantage is that spray guns are not suited for treating large areas.

The major components of a sprayer are tank, pump, agitator, flow control, and nozzles. Sprayer tank, wand, pump and gauge. Use synthetic rubber or plastic hoses that have a burst strength greater than peak operating pressures, resist oil and solvents present in pesticides, and are weather resistant. It consists of a piston type pump, a platform with fork, a lever to operate the pump, pressure chamber, suction hose with strainer, delivery hose, and a spray gun with flow control knob and nozzle.
